The Role: Personal Injury Operations Specialist

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our Houston-based team in person. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and can seamlessly collaborate across departments. You will be the operational bridge ensuring cases are moving efficiently through each phase of the process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work with intake, case management, medical records, settlement, and finance departments to ensure case progress is aligned and on track.

  • Case Oversight: Monitor the status of personal injury cases, identifying any issues or delays and proactively driving resolution.

  • Account Management & Reporting: Serve as a point of contact for client accounts, providing weekly/monthly reporting and operational updates.

  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the case pipeline and propose improvements to enhance throughput.

  • Vendor & Provider Liaison: Communicate with third-party vendors, such as medical providers, diagnostics, and lien companies, to support case movement.

  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain and present internal metrics and KPIs to ensure accountability across departments.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in personal injury law, legal operations, or case management

  • Strong understanding of personal injury workflows and terminology

  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment

  • Proficiency with legal CRMs and case management software (e.g., Filevine, CASEpeer, Litify)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools

  • Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and solutions-driven

  • Must be able to work on-site daily in Houston, Texas
