The Role: Personal Injury Operations Specialist
We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our Houston-based team in person. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and can seamlessly collaborate across departments. You will be the operational bridge ensuring cases are moving efficiently through each phase of the process.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Department Coordination: Work with intake, case management, medical records, settlement, and finance departments to ensure case progress is aligned and on track.
Case Oversight: Monitor the status of personal injury cases, identifying any issues or delays and proactively driving resolution.
Account Management & Reporting: Serve as a point of contact for client accounts, providing weekly/monthly reporting and operational updates.
Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the case pipeline and propose improvements to enhance throughput.
Vendor & Provider Liaison: Communicate with third-party vendors, such as medical providers, diagnostics, and lien companies, to support case movement.
Performance Monitoring: Maintain and present internal metrics and KPIs to ensure accountability across departments.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in personal injury law, legal operations, or case management
Strong understanding of personal injury workflows and terminology
Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment
Proficiency with legal CRMs and case management software (e.g., Filevine, CASEpeer, Litify)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools
Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and solutions-driven
Must be able to work on-site daily in Houston, Texas
